Overview

A set of shims for use with exterior hose bibs (sillcocks) that are recessed into side-wall paneling. The shim spaces the bib away from the wall surface to restore a flush or proud mount after cladding is added or replaced.

Several depths are provided to accommodate different paneling thicknesses and recess depths.

Removable Wedge

The lower half includes a snap-away wedge. It can be:

  • Left in place for a standard install
  • Snapped off permanently where it would interfere
  • Temporarily removed and replaced to allow retrofitting around existing pipe

UV Exposure

Exterior use means UV exposure. Either:

  • Print in a UV-stable material (PETG, ASA, or UV-stabilized PLA)
  • Cover the shim with exterior paint or caulking after install
